What Do You Prefer?

What do you prefer, blue or pink? Nintendo has recently come out with blue and pink Wii remotes. The two new color options will allow you to have a personal remote in the color you prefer.... They were released to replicate the "retro" controllers of the Nintendo N64...

Speaking of pink or blue, how about these funky steering wheel covers? Wouldn't you love to be sporting ones of these?!...

Are the ladies choosing pink? Are the men choosing blue?...

Which do you prefer??? Are we catching on yet???

Lyra has an announcement!!!!!....

Good-bye Little Blue House!

Our first home is sold! It was a little bit stressful last night as we only had three offers on the home, two very close to the asking price and one way higher. Of course you are thinking that this is a good thing, however the very high offer had a possession date of May 31, 2010! Yup, that's two weeks!!! We did not know what to do. In the end we did accept the higher offer and my parents have graciously offered to accept us into their home MUCH earlier than expected. I am feeling excited, stressed, and a little apprehensive. I am a little sad that we aren't able to enjoy our little house for more than 2 more weeks, but I think I am more excited about the things to come. Another chapter in our lives I guess!
Everyone came over last night, including Aunt M from Ontario, and we all had a good time celebrating.
Psalm 37: 3-5 "Trust in the LORD and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe
pasture. Delight yourself in the LORD and he will give you the desires of your
heart. Commit your way to the LORD; trust in him and he will do this"
I've been finding I have been learning a lot about trusting in God's plan throughout this whole process. I thought I would share this little lesson about trust :)

For Sale!

603 Day Street is officially for sale! Our little starter home went on the market this monday, with showings starting wednesday. We have already had a number of people walk through and it seems it's only going to be busier this weekend. It's been quite exciting and a little bit stressful. Hunky husband put in lots of hours and worked some late nights the past few weeks to get everything in order. It sure looks beautiful now though! And I'm sure this is the cleanest our house will ever be. So I thought I would share some pictures.

Here is the front view...
For the rest of the pictures check out the MLS listing... http://www.realtor.ca/propertyDetails.aspx?propertyId=9447725

And for those that are curious as to what the bathroom looks like...
And tiny tot's room...

I will have to update you on how everything goes. We deal with offers on tuesday (hopefully there will be some) and then we will have to see when possesion date is etc. We are going off to Carman for the weekend to celebrate Mother's Day. It will be nice to get away and not have to worry about being out of the house for showings periodically throughout the day.
And Happy Mother's Day to all Mom's! Hope you all have a wonderful weekend with your families!

I wanted to share Matthew 6:34 with you but when I read the whole paragraph on Do Not Worry I wanted to share it all. But especially verse 34. I find it hard during more stressful times in our lives not to worry. It's hard not to feel worry when you are selling your house, or when a small infant in your congregation passes away, or when you really miss talking to your sister on the phone. And then you read Matthew 6: 25-34 and realize how small, helpless, and cared for we are. God loves us, and will most certainly take care of us even if we are starving and naked! And we are certainly blessed with more than that!

Matthew 6 25 "Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you
will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more
important than food, and the body more important than clothes? 26Look at the
birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your
heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27Who of
you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?
28"And why do you worry about clothes? See how the lilies of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you, O
you of little faith? 31So do not worry, saying, 'What shall we eat?' or 'What
shall we drink?' or 'What shall we wear?' 32For the pagans run after all these
things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33But seek first his
kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as
well. 34Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will
worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own."
